Asta Man Bajacharya

At the time those pictures where taken, Asti Man Bajacharya was in charge of a small temple next to the Bhaktapur Durbar Square. It's a “job” by 2, 3 years men rotation. At about 78 years old, he finished his “turn” of three years a few months after our visit and used to regularly do […]

In a square in Bhaktapur, this man was sitting on a railing and accept that I make this portrait. Photo pleases him a lot but also surprised him at very first time: he told me —we understood each other and essentially by gestures— that he did not see the arm he had raised me doing […]

A seller who stood near the temple Hari Shankar (Kathmandu) and kindly accepted me to do this portrait of him. I couldn't get his name, I must say that it was quite difficult to make myself heard and understand due to his deafness — so imagine in another language ;-)
